So today, after browsing the Ovi Store online, I decided to check Download! on my Nokia 5800 to see if the Ovi App Store app had become available.

The app was there and downloaded ok, but installation failed with an "Expired Certificate" error.

This is not encouraging me to make a priority of submitting an app to the Ovi Store!

    best regards,

    Andrew

I've seen this before, the solution is to hard reset your device. Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in the firmware, so remember to back up first.

From the home screen use *#7370#

Hard reset cleared it. But that's a pretty big barrier to entry for a non-technical end user surely?
