Lead Time for Approval

Is there somewhere (maybe here) that we could get updated lead-times for QA Overview approval? I'm not complaining - I'm sure the OVI guys are slammed, but knowing how long would help (at least) me plan our OVI launches better.

Right now we've had a passive content SIS waiting 2 weeks on OVI approval. (We rolled it out last week on other sites.) We've got another passive content SIS launching next week where we'd like OVI to be the advertised download point, but it may be too late already. Knowing how far in advance I need to submit the SIS would really help.

Hi Pat,

Typically it should take between 2-5 business days for content items to be reviewed by our QA teams. Because of the launch it is taking longer than usual, and unfortunately delaying some publishers having their content available in Ovi Store. We're working as quickly as possible to get publishers' content items reviewed and approved so they're available to end-users.

If you reply to let me know your username for Ovi Publish and the names of the content items I can take a look at what's going on and see if things can be expedited.

I have heard (from other developers) that the lead time is at *least* 3 weeks.

Edit: Here's part of a post from Jim in the Java DRM thread:

"Due to the Ovi app store being totally over loaded on all fronts. They are 3 weeks behind with emails. This means a potential lead time of 7 weeks from submission to publish, some people who submitted by 21st April are still having problems."
