    Hi,
    I am new to NFC...I want to develop a NFC application for a mobile using a NFC toolkit...Can i port it to other NFC compatible phones??

    What is the nfc phone you are using ?

    Are you using J2ME to write the NFC app ? If yes, then you may be able to take it
    to any phone that has J2ME NFC interfaces.

    What toolkit are you referring to ?

    You could use Netbeans along with Nokia 6131 emulator to get your hands dirty with NFC.
