ip address formatted textbox

Dear All,
I am developing an application on my nokia phone using pys60. I have a form and 2 text boxes for ip address and mac address. is there any separate control available for this (like masked text box in C#). or how can i prevent a-z from it eg. 192.168.1.0 - text box as number will not work for dots(.)

Hi,

Unfortunately there is currently no way to achieve what you want with Python. The only types of text boxes that you can have are the ones described in the documentation, and an IP-friendly one isn't among them.

Not quite, as far as I know. It is possible to send and receive files, of course, but that's also the only way to turn on Bluetooth (the phone will say that Bluetooth is currently turned off and will ask if you want to turn it on). I don't think Bluetooth can be explicitly switched off in Python.

Hello Bogdan i guess there is a way. Please have a look at this thread, this is basically a module for S60 3rd edition device and if you have 2nd edition device then make a search for btswitch module.

The code in that article is the same as in the link I provided because the author of the article (guess who that is ) copied it.
