Hi Symbian/S60 experts,

I want to capture the screenshot of games and video.Is it possible to capture the screenshot in symbian\s60 3rd edition ? Somehow i want to capture the screenshot of video or games where direct screen access was implemented.Similar to CWsScreenDevice::CopyScreenToBitmap() which is used for capturing the screenshot of phone's screen.Is there any alternate method to capture the screenshot of games or video ?

Symbian\S60 experts, Please provide your pointers.

Yes I am talking about the screenshot capture application like Antony pranata application.But Antony pranata application will not capture the screenshot of video or games because it is using CWsScreenDevice::CopyScreenToBitmap() which uses window server to get the content of phone's screen.But in direct screen access areas ,this CopyScreenToBitmap() API will not capture screenshot and it it gives dark black image file(jpeg or bmp). Do you know any method to capture the screenshot of video and games ?

That is simply not possible. Video player and OpenGL use a low level, one-way path for accessing the display. For both of them the main reason is probably the performance, but in case of video player copyright issues may also come into the picture (so you can not extract DRM protected video for example).
