Nokia 8250 and Toshiba Satellite lap top computer - is it possible to connect the two - my computer tells me there is no dial tone but that the nokia is trying to connect

It should be possible to connect these two, Nokia 8250 and Toshiba Satellite laptop if the PC has supported operating system and correct PC software installed and configured correctly. Also for data connection you need to have data services available from your GSM-network operator.
