Wifi Network / switch on Wifi for Nokia 9300i

Hi to all,

I have Nokia 9300i. I cann't connect internet using Wifi. This ia happen while connecteing using Wifi, suddenly it get rebooted. Since then I can not creat Access Point, because I do not see any Wireless Network in my communicator. How can i switch on Wifi connectivity, or by default wifi is always on. What should I do so that I can see available Wireless Networks. I do not get any Wifi Network icon, despite Wireless network is available. I did format my communicator 2-3 times in order get default settings but no luck.

I have wireless router and I know it is on and it is unsecured network (I do not need to enter any username/password.)

Earlier also it had happened and after sometime it started automatically.

Can someone help me please.

I have also faced the same problem and am stuck myself. It was working perfectly not so long ago. Unfortunately, being in Swaziland, I do not even have access to a Nokia Care Centre

I have noticed in the schematic that both Bluetooth and WLAN are performed by the same chip. My Bluetooth is working fine, though.

The WLAN antenna contacts are good. And I have also formatted the phone etc...

My WLAN just started working again yesterday.
Guess this means anyone having this problem should just be a little patient. I know it sounds not so helpful, but it appears that trying to open the device to adjust things may end up doing more harm than good
