I've been trying to program on the N95 8GB which if I have understood correctly, uses S60 3rd edition FP1.
Thus, I downloaded and installed the S60 3rd edition FP1 SDK which I use to program on Carbide C++ IDE.
I am hoping to get a readings from the phone sensors like the accelerometer and sounds and light and was looking around for it. I tried playing around with the Nokia Sensor API plug-in (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...nsor_Framework) but apparently it is only for FP2 onwards.
Are there any FP1 sensor APIs available for which I can use to work on my N95 8GB?
Thanks in advance.

You may consider following the link near to the end of the very first paragraph of that article. Your findings about the unified sensor framework are probably correct, but the very first sensor-related demos were all made for N95.
You should check http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Nokia_Sensor_APIs for example.

I'm having some trouble finding the documentation for the sensor API however (it says: The plug-in is provided with complete API documentation), but I couldn't find them in help or thru the wiki. Do you have any idea how the documentation can be accessed?
