Ovi store app start-up problem

Hey folks,

Whenever i start my ovi store app on my 5800XM, it says 'Application initialisation failed!'.

I have tried un-installing and then re-installing but the issue remains same.
I am running firmware v30.0.011

Can you please guide me to how to get rid of it?

It seems this is quite a widespread issue. It has been up on http://www.nokia.com/discussions/ since early June and no official replies.

It'd be great if someone from here with a bit of weight asked around if anyone knows anything about this. One can only speculate how many people are affected that never read either of these forums and aren't voicing their issues.

I had the same problem once and I used Ovi Store's support channel to report the issue. Those who need to know about this have thus been informed.
