Can we access MiFare part of secure element in Nokia 6131 without unlocking

Hi,

While running a demo application on LOCKED Nokia - 6131 phone I am getting

MFStandardException : Read / Write failed.

Its getting connected to the card but when I try to read or write it throws exception.

On an UNLOCKED phone the same app runs fine.

I want to know whether we can read/write the Mifare part of secure element without unlocking Nokia - 6131 phone ???

FYI : The midlet is signed and the firmware version is 5.12.
