Can Socket server resolve the HTTP command?

I just don't know whether or not the socket server can resolve the HTTP request from a javascript,like Get ,Post . Can anyone give me a useful reference? (what I want is do it in SERVER part to response, but not in client part to send a request)..

It is not the Socket Server which has to respond to a HTTP request, but your own code. Accept the incoming TCP connection, prepare for getting HTTP requests and reply to them.
