Remove appended ':' symbol in form control

Please tell me how to remove ':' sign, which appears on activation of any form item viz. Edit Button. I want to create a separator which contains text.

When Form control like editmenu is active it shows appended ':' symbol after title.
I want to remove that. Please let me know some way.
