    Hi there,

    I am a newbie with Qt development and trying to setup the tools on Windows Vista.
    I've installed the following applications:
    - Qt 4.6.0
    - Carbide.c++ 2.0.4
    - Perl 5.6.1
    - S60 3rd FP2 Edition SDK
    - Java 1.6

    After setting up the Qt for Carbide, when I build a GUI Main Window project I get the following errors:

    C:\Qt\4.6.0-beta\bin\qmake -recursive test1.pro
    Failure to read QMAKESPEC conf file C:\Qt\4.6.0-beta\mkspecs\default\qmake.conf.
    Error processing project file: test1.pro

    I am not able to set up the development environment, kindly help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jarnail

    Hi,
    Have you check that the environment variable configured or not?

    Hi Jajal,

    Thanks for replying.
    Yes I checked all variables with my understanding. I am just copying the Path variable below. Can you please check if anything is missing.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Nokia\Carbide.c++ v2.0\x86Build\Symbian_Tools\Command_Line_Tools;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Symbian\Tools;C:\Program Files (x86)\PC Connectivity Solution\;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\bin\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin;C:\Perl\bin;

    Thanks again.

    Hi jarnail,

    I had check your path variable .
    I think you have to add the location of your Qt/..../bin folder to your path variable.

    Hope it will works for you.

    Regards.
