Saving captured images from phone camera to disk?

I want to capture images from my phone cam and then save them to disk.
That is as soon as I take a pic it should save it to external disk, and then I will go on to take the 2nd pic and save and the process will continue for a pre-defined number of pics.
Is it possible to do this with a python script.
Phone is S60 5th Edition 5800XM.

I think yes u can. Try this script :

import camera
mypic = camera.take_photo(size = (640,480))
mypic.save(u"e:\\myimage.jpg")

Thanks, Would there be a security dialog shown to the user everytime something is written to disk?
If so can I disable it by default and allow the script free access to save all files to disk?

No security dialogs. But you can change the capabilities when generating the sis file.
