as for now its not possible, but i have some hopes and i guess soon they will be suported on OVI store.

So whats stopping someone making a sis and submiting it? or dosent it work like that?

i am not so sure but there are some platform security issues with the sis we are developing using Py scripts.

I don't think so, the only problem I see is hard runtime deployment for end-users (with all those dependencies), specially till a stable version is not released.
