So what additional have you tried, and what are the outcomes ?
I have never used it so if you think it might help, then try out and see what the result is. anyway, you could also try out what I said in the previous thread, I did make a working 2D barcode reader myself some 3 years ago, and the key was to make a logic that determines which pixel color of the image can be determined to be black and which can not.

yep - I did. And transforming the green part to black is easy (we did that as a school assignment looong time ago).
Just strip off the Red and blue parts like this:
r.val=g.val
b.val=g.val
And you end up with a grey image from black to white with the "green intensities" green being white and black staying black. If you now really really want to go for the green, then you invert - then green becomes black and vice versa.
