URL Length....?

Is there a character limit to the length of a URL on Nokia handsets? Does it differ for http vs. https?

Can a URL on Nokia handset contain odd characters, like a pipe character "|" in a querystring?

I'm having some problems with a site that has really long URL's and some of these non-standard characters in its querystring. The site is not rendering on the Nokia browser.

Could somebody from Nokia contact me about this?
