Problem installing Nokia S40 5.1 SDK on 64 bit Vista

Hi every1,

Just got a problem. I have Intel based workstation running Vista Ultimate 64bit. Installed with no problem 64 bit JDK 6 and Netbeans 6.8. Everything works fine. Few days ago tried to install Nokia S40 SDK and didn't succeed. SDK installer reports that it can't find JRE. Okay, I have installed 32 bit JRE 5.0 - still can't install.

Can anyone help me?

by Nokia S40 5.1 SDK, do you mean Series 40 5th Edition SDK, Feature Pack 1 or Series 40 5th Edition SDK, Feature Pack 1 Lite?

According to release notes both support Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition.

Furthermore, have you set JAVA_HOME environment variable pointing to JRE folder?

Problems resolved. Just for information: one need to install both JVM's 64-bit and 32-bit ones. Nokia S40 SDK requires presense of 32-bit JRE. Netbeans supports also 64-bit JDK/JRE. Now it works like a charm.
