AnalyzeTool Problem! need ur help~

my app has an alloc panic, I employed HookLogger at first, but which didn't work on my pc, so I turned to AnalyzeTool.

and I just installed PDT 1.5. However, if I activate AnalyzeTool build I get this message:

Can not find AnalyzeTool library files from current SDK:

C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd_MR\epoc32\RELEASE\winscw\udeb\AToolMemoryHook.lib
C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd_MR\epoc32\RELEASE\winscw\udeb\AtoolStaticLib.lib
C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd_MR\epoc32\RELEASE\winscw\urel\AtoolStaticLib.lib

ps: I have S60_3rd_MR SDK installed.

who knows how to fix this stuff? plz tell me,

Welcome to the community of the damned ... Nokia just will not give you these for some bureaucratic reason.

Try using HookLogger with S60 FP2 emulator, and visit this thread for download of corrected files: http://developer.symbian.org/forum/s...ead.php?t=4589, I was able to get HookLogger going with the corrected files.

Thx for your help, and I think I've fixed this stuff as what you suggested,
I switched to a lower version of HookLogger(0.42 rc4), which can run with my emulator.

Welcome to the community of the damned ... Nokia just will not give you these for some bureaucratic reason.

One should not expect to be able to run tools from the Product Development Toolkit (PDT) on the public SDKs. Especially not on the old ones. When Symbian Foundation will release its first SDK then you can ask that they also provide proper tooling support for them, until then you will have to work with what is currently made available to 3rd party developers, such as the hooklogger tool.

I am also trying to use the Analyzer Tool to check for memory leaks, etc with SDK 3rd Ed FP2 v1.1 but have the same problem - cant find the missing libraries so Carbide can't build it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or is this a lost cause?

I have also upgraded to Carbide 2.5 and can't see code scanner anymore - has this been removed in place of the Analyzer Tool?

I don't know why, but it's true that AnalyzerTool nearly unusable.

try HookLogger, the lower version(0.42 rc4) can run with 3rd_mr emulator, but i've no idea whether it fit a higher sdk or not.
