I am new to Forum Nokia and Symbian development in general, so feel free to correct me if I am doing things wrong...

Actually, I want to develop an application using my Nokia 6220 classic's A-GPS chipset. I have read some location-related threads and wiki articles and I am quite confused, so I have some questions.

First, I did not understand properly how the Location API deals with the A-GPS chipset. Are there means to :
- configure and monitor the data connection before the fix ?
- switch the chipset ON or OFF to save battery ?

And I did not understand either what happens if the data connection fails. Does the framework automatically switch to a mere GPS fix ?
