Hello guys, thanks for reading my post.
My cellphone has enough space for a .jad file that I want to install, which is about 300kb.
But when I am trying to download the .jad file, I get the message "File too Large" and the installation is terminated.
What can I do to change the download file size limit or any suggestions from you guys to help me solve this problem.
    Thanks in advanced.

    Welcome to Forum Nokia!

Can you tell us what model of phone you are using?

If the phone has a JAR size limit, then there is no way to change it.

When developing a Java application, you need to think about the limitations of the target devices, and design your application accordingly.

    Hello vadpple,

and welcome to Forum Nokia Discussion Boards!

Which device do you use for performing the download?

Please note that some devices like those of Series 40 have got a set limit on application size which can be installed to the device. Usually this means that the f.ex. for Series 40 devices the maximum size is between 500 kB or 1 MB (depending on the device in question) ; therefore unfortunately any application which exceeds the set maximum size cannot be installed to the device subject to this maximum file size limitation.

    Regards,
    r2j7

I am using the phone Nokia 2330 Classic and Nokia 3200,
Both of the phones did not work out.
May I know the download file size limits of both phones?
    Thanks.
