Recover erased images?

All the pictures in my Nokia E52 were accindently erased.
Is there a way to get them back?
Some kind of recovery software to run in my computer, perhaps?

If they were in phone memory: no easy way (if you immediately turned the device off, then a data recovery service like http://www.ibas.com might help; for a fee).

If they were on the memory card: use a PC, suitable card reader and file recovery software. (Note that if the card has been in use - you didn't immediately remove it from the phone - the data may have already been overwritten.)
