I tested a simple program about displaying a textbox on the screen. But it display nothing on the screen. I tried to discover the mistake I have done for several hours but I could not. Then I create another project and create another MIDlet that is exactly the same with the old one. But the new MIDlet work properly. What is the problem?

it might be an IDE problem, the older project might have some kind of problem, not specifically a coding problem...
Have you tried to build&clean your project instead of just building and/or running it ?

I don't know the meaning of project cleaning. But I have cleaned that project but it still does not work.

wel lthen just dump it and continue with the one that works...
most probably you have done something wrong in the beginning, when creating the project... Maybe you selected the wrong platform, the wron type of project, wrong library-imports etc... There are quite some possibilties there
also when someone uses a term you don't know you might want to have a quick search with google, so if you want to know what clean project eclipse is just google it
