6210 Data call connectivity

Hi,

Are additional services required from the GSM service to make a data call (for example to an ISP) at 9600?

Connecting a 6210 with a cable connection, the phone is not able to make a connection. The phone makes a noise and then hangs up.

Any assistance appreciated.

Hi,

In most countries you need to make data service subscription to GSM-operator for data calls. Contact your GSM-network operator to find out if you need to activate any data services or if they already exist on your SIM-card.
