Yes, its not a relational database and afaik there is no relational database available in j2me.

This means that the Midlet do not have any API which can specify the name or path of the physical file for RMS recordstores that it creates, to be stored on the device physical memory. This path depends on the implementation say on Nokia S40 and S60 these paths may be different.

ya,But, I have read that the data storage location depends on the implementation + not exposed to the MIDlet?
