I want to test my meego application on N900 with Nokia RDA

Hi,

I have created one meego application on linux, and tested it with intel i3 by installing meego on that machine.

But i want to test my application with meego on ARM Architecture.

So can you please tell me Nokia RDA will provice the N900 phone with meego.
I am waiting, and any help will be appriciated.

As of now no stable version of Meego is available for developers. The Day 1 version released for N900 is not for developers, it still might have more issues.

Once a stable version comes out. I am sure that will be made available on RDA

yep, at least currently there is no such MeeGo image for N900 that would be suitable for RDA use. As/if one appears later on, we'll of course check up on this topic.

N900 is Maemo device, there has not been (at least what I have seen) any official announcements that it would be supporting Meego, thus I would assume that you get a meego RDA device accessible, as soon as there are real meego devices commercially available.

And as far as I know, there wont be any official support either (atleast in the announcements so far unless I have missed something newer. Sorry cannot provide links to it at the moment, but I remember reading it). So in such a case, I am not sure if you would expect to see a N900 MeeGo on RDA.

The MeeGo project day 1 does have hardware adaptation for N900. However that image is not suitable for RDA use.

Although Nokia N900 devices are being used for platform development and testing purposes by those involved in the MeeGo project, Nokia doesn’t have plans for a full scale commercial MeeGo upgrade on the Nokia N900.
