    This error ( [ABLD.BAT] Error -1073741819 ) seems permanent, install / uninstall does not remove it:

    What is your build system? There's a non-trivial chance that Windows "Data Execution Protection" is shooting make. Also, some antivirus programs may be overly aggressive in this regard. I've had to turn off DEP and turn down my antivirus (Norton) in order to keep them from interfering with build/test operations on my Vista machine.

    You may also be encountering a specific situation relating to your configuration -- eg, I know that special install steps were required on 64-bit Vista with previous tools.

    (I'm assuming this is the all-in-one SDK, so you didn't separately install the tool chain, etc. There are many opportunities for foul ups when you're installing the pieces separately.)

    Thank's, I did forget that antivir's do not like Carbide
