I think you should run qt_installer.sis first. It installs the qt environment in the phone.

You can use the qt smart installer, instead.

I have made a ROFS2 with QT 4.7 built in Here
    Hope it helps
Works fine, except for 'component QT missing error' which is wrong

There are couple of videos which shows demo of smart installer. Smart installer works flawless on my Nokia 5800.

Smart installer works flawless on my Nokia 5800.
But, it should be noted, will not (in the final version) work on the N97.

As answered in your other thread, smart installer works on N97 and the current release (v1.0) is "final". So no worries, it does and it will continue to work. Try it now

For up-to-date reliable info about Smart Installer please see http://tinyurl.com/SmartInstaller and of course use the Nokia Smart Installer for Symbian forum of this thread for any questions you may have. You can forward this message to the source of your N97 info as well

    Hi,
what I was told a few weeks ago, initial support on Oviu was N97mini and X6 only. However, I have recently started to also see downloads from XM5800 and N97 large.

    So, stay tuned!
