Switch off Debian package creation in Qt Creator. Unless Debian package production is your goal.

I don't know which image are you talking about, but you alter build steps under Build Settings -> Build Steps

apologies again , forget about the image..
i am curious to know what causes this problem from time to time. ? since i had this before and i resolved it reinstalling.
one more thing, when running a program that ends running on N900, i cant access some device files, in order to get round it i have to run it again from the Xterminal on N900. how can i change the permission of the debugging program.?

It sounds at least weird. All I know at some point package creation in Nokia Qt SDK was broken, so you had to switch this step off to make build succeed.
