    Hi,
    I am developing an application,and I would like to know if it is possible for a Symbian application to get the current Timing Advance value of the signal received by the phone from the nearest cell tower and the signal strength also .

    This has been discussed plenty of times, and sofar I have not seen any working solution for getting the TA. Anyway the general signal strenght can be gotten with CTelephony API for the currently used cell.
