Hello, I already have the developer certificate for open sign offline for making .sis file. Now the product is complete so for commercial publishing what process i have to follow or can i used the same developer certificate? Can i use same publisher ID (i.e of developer certificate) or should i need to get another.

Now to submit for SymbianSigning process, you need to sign your unsigned .sis file with .cer and .key file which you originally extracted from your Publisher ID. You can check this article: http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/in...ned_submission

Thanks for moving the thread to appropriate section. As far as my query is concerned I have signed my sis file using Developer Certificate. So can I submit this sis file for getting Express Signed or Certified Signed submissions.

Also wish to know that the does DRM Capabality is alowed in for Express Signed? I have below two links which stated contradictiory statements abt using DRM for Express Signed. One states the we can not use DRM capabilities for Express Signed (http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/in...bian_Signed%29 see the table) and the other says that Express signed can not use only Restricted Capability (http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/in...bian_Signed%29) . So can I use express signed for DRM capability?

FYI, I require DRM capability for CreateAndSendMessageL Api as it is used for sending Sms/Email.

No. You cannot. As I said, you have to sign your unsigned .sis file with the Publisher ID .cer and Publisher ID .key file. Read the article I suggested in previous post.

No, you cannot use DRM capability with Expressed signing. It falls under Manufacturer level of capability. If you see the table then you will realize that you cannot use it with Expressed Signing. http://developer.symbian.org/wiki/in...bian_Signed%29

I guess that applies when you try to send some DRM procted files, are you sending such? Anyways please also check for RSendAsMessage API in the SDK help and on Wiki too.
