Landscape + keyboard + password echo mode

Hello,

I may have a bug here but I want to discuss it before filing it. My application is running in Nokia N97 mini. It first has a login window, so two QLineEdit, one for username, the other one for password. When using the application in portrait mode, everything is ok. But when I open the physical keyboard, it goes to landscape. For typing the username everything is ok. But I can't type more than one letter in the password QLineEdit. After the asterisk is shown, if I type a new letter, it deletes the previous one. So I can only have one letter.

Any idea ?

A known bug in Qt for Symbian. Most of the data entry widgets are broken, one way or another.

I think there are circumventions, but I've never tackled that specific bug to learn the ins and outs of it.
