Questions on price tiers and updates

Hi!

Have just released a new version of my apps lineup, with better functionality and lower prices. Faced two questions.

* The new price tier set to my apps is Tier 4 with Global price of € 5.00. So it is displayed in publisher's office. But in the Store, in fact, the price of € 4.00 is displayed. I've checked with billing matrix - there's no option for 4 euros on Tier 4. Why could it be like that?

* When I browse Ovi Store as a regular customer with my N97, it gives me no signal that there's a new version of my app. I mean I had already purchased and installed the older version before upgrading, so it looks to me that my customers have no chance to know that they can upgrade their apps for free. How can I manage them to rip the fruit of my work?

Current version of Ovi store don't support update.
It's don't notify you customers about new version.
You will need to implement your own update mechanism.
But I get some info from OVI team, that update mechanism is top of to do list. But time when it will be available .....

I've checked it multiple times: Publisher office says € 5.00, Ovi Store promises to buyers € 4.00. And for 5-euro-tier (actually numbered as #4), there's no local price of € 4.00 for any country.

Does anyone meet same issue?

What is origin under that?

What is the real price customers should to pay?

What do you mean by that? I'd like to have business related answer on WHERE IS 1 EURO ON TIER #4... I'm not interested in Oriental superstitions, sorry

Hello,
if you have an Ovi Publisher account, go to Support and then look at the Billing Matrix. There you can see the tiers - in one country, a four euro tier is offered.

You cannot set prices, just tiers. So what the user pays depends on where he is!

Unfortunately, not clear, cos € 4.00 is a price for Irish market on Tier #3 (base price is € 3.00). My app is on Tier #4 (base price is € 5.00), and I still insist that for this tier there's no country with the distribution for € 4.00...

Hammer is falling... We earn less that € 100 a week on all our Symbian app, and I even don't know the price for my goods in this market. Support doesn't answer. Looks like one less player will be here soon.

Ah, now I understand you: you have received but four euros for a program on tier 5? Or do you see a price of 4 euros in the store client for a product on tier 5?
