Cant build other made projects

Hello, I have only helllo world experiance in carbide.c++, made it from tutorials and it worked, however emulator did not worked. But when I download any other example, I cant build it, because of tons of errors.

I have installed
strawberry-perl-5.12.1.0
SDK 3th FA1 (I have N95 8Gb)
and Carbide.c++ 2.3.0

Those missing files and classes are probably from the plugin packs http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SDK_API_Plug-in - Phone Client Extension API in particular.

It seems you didn't successfully follow the tutorial, say, from dev-1 ( http://cally.iat.sfu.ca/research/34 ). The error you posted should not have happened if you've completed earlier steps especially the one dev-2(2/5) ( http://cally.iat.sfu.ca/research/50 ). Do not jump to a short cut if you are a beginner.

Yupiii, managed to build it. only strange was that it didn`t build because of error - cant find file: ....S60_3rd_FP1\Epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\icons.mif (it was black error not red)
I searched it in other folders, found it, copied to that location and all worked.

And there is 1 more problem with images in MainMenu.uidesign:

Something strange is going on here. I managed to build sis and sisx, then closed carbide and then opened, and cant build anymore it...

Your Perl version is not exactly the one which is required by the SDK-s. Although you can modify the problematic Perl scripts (search for instructions in the Wiki for that, perl, or the name of the scripts can be a good search query), you can find download links for ActivePerl 5.6.1 in the related sticky thread of the Symbian Tools & SDKs board.
