Background Image on a form using MIDlets

Hi All..........

I'm new to J2ME development............Actually I'm trying to display Background Image on a mobile Display.
I'm able to display using Canvas class but I want the same to be displayed using forms. Can
any one suggest a method are any sample code relating to the same will help me to get ride of this
problem.

using the standard MIDP High level GUI Items (like Form) you simply cannot set a background Image...
So one of the doable options you already tried (using a Canvas), the other option would be to use a 3rd party GUI Library lie LWUIT or J2ME Polish which offer more elaborated GUI items (like forms, lists etc)...

It's true.
As Tiger told you that you cannot set a Background Image for a standard MIDP Form.

But you can set the background image in LWUIT, Because it supports.
