    how do i find the v of firmware that my phone is running on

    For my 6310 the sequence *#0000# does the trick.

    Probably this works for a 6310i too.

    latest firmware for the 6310i is 5.51 (08-07-03).

    I had mine upgraded recently as it was still within it's warranty period they did it for free !
