Example app not working

Hi all,

The following example application http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._2_en.zip.html cannot be built properly. User gets errors when trying to build this example app. Where can i find the working version of this project???

What are the errors you get ? and which SDK are you using ? the example should be just fine.

Hi,

I am using Symbian^3 SDK for Nokia Devices (0.9) SDK (http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._9_en.zip.html). I am getting "multiple target pattern" error when i build this example app.

The story is that FN examples are not prepared for the Symbian^3 SDK-s. Symbian^3 uses a slightly different structure in its include folders, thus the "simple, old" "SYSTEMINCLUDE \epoc32\include" is not enough even for a HelloWorld. Just check HelloWorldBasic.mmp in the Symbian^3 SDK and any S60 SDK and you will see.
Note that the Symbian^3 SDK probably contains HTTP examples, like WebClient (amongst the GUI examples), and appprots\exampleclient (amongst the non-GUI examples).
