    Hi

I would need tips about how to get started with developing applications with Qt and specially with Qt mobility. I have books on Qt and I have some experience with Android development. If you know some good tutorials and videos it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Best Regards Tuomas

Be aware that the development environment for phone-based Qt is relatively fragile (compared to Android) and constantly in flux. While you're starting out try to avoid "unusual" configurations. In particular, avoid the "online install" of the Nokia Qt SDK and avoid using the "remote compiler" unless you absolutely have to use them.

Especially im interest in how can I access phone information (contacts, map, etc). Does mobile Qt need something done differently when accessing internet or embedded sqlite ? How do I make widgets (in android they are called widgets... little screens that you can add to "desktop", I don't know correct Nokia term

    Thank you in advance

There are widgets in Qt, but no desktop.

The internet access is a little "touchy" -- a few secret incantations are needed to make it work reliably. But nothing someone here won't sell you for a few thousand $$

SQL support (SQLite) is fairly robust and straight-forward, though you should take the time to learn the Qt "lingo" for doing SQL, vs using the "raw" interfaces.
