Selected languages for distribution

Hello,

My application is only available in English. It would make sense to only select English for distribution, and not "Works for all languages".
However I need confirmation, because it should still work whatever the language of the phone, only it will not be translated.
So would that be ok with QA to select "Works for all languages"?

I want to do the right thing with OVI, but also not be penalized because of language restrictions that would limit the range of distribution.

(then I have the description in the metadata translated in 3 languages, but I suppose that has nothing to do)

I have always checked that box and had no issues so far.

I am not an official Nokia staff of course, but ..

From my personal experience: you have to select only the languages your app supports (if you have any text in your app). My app failed the QA process exactly because the "Works for all languages" was selected

I have not seen tbhis happen so far. But as I have an app in QA right now, we will know more soon!

Yes this would be good to have a first-hand verification on this. My assumption was that "works for all languages" would be the option, because otherwise it could affect on in what countries the app would be distributed.

Thank you very much, I had never seen that page. So according to it, English is global ("Works for all languages" in OVI publish). I thought so. Thanks.

Confirmed, I had an app published today with Spanish and English translations and the "Works for all languages" box checked.
