j2me application fails to start

we have a simple j2me application that runs on nokia supernova 7210. however application fails to start on nokia 2690. The technical specs (features jsr and jem2 seem to be exact match. can some body kindly let us know how we proceed to sort this issue out. we are facing a critical project issue because of this. thanks in advance.
