Java emulator for .jar files?

I don't know if this is the correct area to ask this but I'm trying to figure out how to install something that will allow me to run .jar files such as those from getjar.com or other sites to try the app before installing it onto my nokia e71x. Is there any such app or set of apps that will allow that function?

I've searched the web and found a variety of things to install but nothing I've installed works to execute jar files. I've got J2RE installed, JDK, perl, Java wireless toolkit, and probably a few other things but nothing has worked or given me the ability to test out jar files.

Any ideas as to what I should specifically be searching the web for? "Java emulator" or "symbian emulator" comes up pretty much dry. Maybe I'm just not well versed in the java world lol
