how to save mutable image

I am working on a Paint mobile App ....
now i am able to draw lines, circle,square.....
but not able to save that image on the mobile phone memory

I got to know that j2me dont have any inbuilt image encoding and decoding functions .....
plz suggest me for my problem..
I am stuck up in middle of my work.......

any suggestions are welcomed

You can use Christian Fröschlin's PNG encoder, reproduced with his kind permission in the Nokia wiki.

To save that Png image i have to make a file connection ....
But file connection in j2me in Nokia mobile is not supporting well due to security purpose...

i tried this code

but when i save the file it automatically gets exit....
what should i do????

does it work on the emulator ?
is your application signed ?
do you have any error message ?

its getting exit after i press the save button....
but the file gets saved properly..
but it is not able to override it
