using the handsfree

Hello i am trying to make a madia player for nokia 5220(series 40 OS). What i want to do is to be able to
know weather the handsfree set is plugged in or not and to be able to catpure events from the handsfree button.

I have looked into some specifications, but i decided that i best ask here.
How can I capture the events of "jacking in the handsfree", "jacking out the handsfree", and "pushing handsfree the button"?
