    Ciao,

I am trying to use the Messaging Platform Services to send an MMS with an attachment but it looks like the attachment is not performed and that it fails back to SMS which works fine as I see the SMS in the send meggages.

    Anyone experience this issue?

    Alessandro

you could make a WRT that will embed the flash, and use the WRT APIs...

this is how I use accelerometer from flash (because directly from flash is buggy has a lag - the asynchronous communication between API and flash is implemented trough a queue which is totally wrong)

Can you give a little more detail? I'm checking into your problem but not sure what you are trying to attach. Mabey I missed a section of your post.

    Ciao,

I am trying to attach a file to a MMS using Platform Services API call in the parameters section.
It does not fail but instead of doing the MMS, it default to the SMS.

    Ciao,

just wanted to share infos received from Nokia.
There is a bug in the MMS Platform Services API for Flash Lite which prevents from attach a file, they are investigating the issue.

So now I am looking for a workaround.
Anyone knows if there is a special format for SMS to share GPS location?

    Hey?

We are running a service in Kenya where dynamic SWFs are sent as MMS attachments. The challenge we faced was a 100KB memory cap. That could be one reason for the fail. Secondly file formats need to be declared much like one would on a web server, but that would need to be done on the service provider's end. Finally we are able to send WGZs smaller than 100KB and SWFs. SISX as you know are protected and cannot be attached. Hope this helped.

    Ciao,

I understand, as those limits are defined for each device (UAProf).
My problem is different, I have created a Flash Lite application that allows to send via MMS another text file, or a least that was the plan.
I am looking at other ways to do it at the moment.
