Facebbok or twitter access from symbian app

Hello Friends,

I am gone through all the posts on forum, but did not get proper info about the implementation of face book/twitter from any symbian app.

I want to post the message from my symbian app to the facebook or twitter wall. I got to know there is no facebook or twitter API available with symbian.

If anyone know how to do this, plz plz let me know the approach to make this implementation done.

I don't think there is any API available to access Facebook/ Twitter. But yes, you can open them via opening a browser from your Symbian application. To launch a browser, you can check

the approach would be to look into the Twitter & Facebook, and see what kind of API they are offering to external developers. and then seeing what kind of APIs can be used from the client side. Also then you could maybe search this forum for the actual problems, like authentication etc.

I can launch the facebook or twitter via browser...but actually i want to open the facebook or twitter wall immediately with a message body to post provided by my symbian app...so that the predefined advertisement message will appear into the wall box for posting purpose....i cannot achieve this via browser..

Yes, this is when you could open http://twitter.com, click on API on the bottom of the page and start reading.
Similar approach may work with Facebook too (I have opened only the Twitter site now).
