TRK Debugging Problem

Hi,

I am getting a problem in debugging on device through TRK.

My error is :

Load Failed

TRKProtocolPlugin : Failed to launch application(installing the application may have failed or dependent libraries are missing).

My application is using two static libraries. it is working fine when i run my application on phone trough TRK.

i am doing debugging on N8 & using Symbian^3 SDK. But same problem also produce in 3rd edition.

What can be the reason? Plz. guide me .

There are some limitations about what kind of applications you can debug. High level capabilities (DRM and AllFiles perhaps) are no go.

No, i am not using these capabilities(DRM and AllFiles).

Do you anyone know that, how to do TRK debugging of application which is using static librarioes ? Because i have successfully done the TRK debugging of a simple application which is not using any static library.

& my error is:

You could try in debug configurations, Installation files, try to install your debug sisx file, and/or in the main, launch an exe that does not have dependency on too many libraries (if your project contains many exe files)

My project uses only one exe i.e itself & which is using two static libraries. These libraries are made seprately & linked in exe in mmp file through STATICLIBRARY. I can't use these static library code in my exe directly, i've to use them as a static library. So in this case how will be able to debug it? Also i've done all the changes in debug configurations & tested it but no effect. When i make phone release build it works fine on device & nothing is missing. But unable to start phone debugging before it i got this error message.

Yes I understood that. But did you read carefully my suggestion? I meant the fifth tab in the debug configuration "installation".

Just a suggestion. Has worked for me when your kind of problem is faced by me.

In debug configurations (fifth tab in the debug configuration), i already made sis file & that file installs successfully on phone through TRK but never launch & gives that error.
