Requested Application access not granted

Hello

Im developing a QT application which includes QTMobility and QContacts, QMessaging and QSystemInfo.

Following this link :

my .pro file has following capabilities

symbian::TARGET.CAPABILITY = LocalServices ReadUserData WriteUserData NetworkServices UserEnvironment ReadDeviceData WriteDeviceData Location

However while installing the sis file, I get the error "Requested application access not granted"

Am I missing some capabilities or are there too many of them

Please help

as you are using capabilities out side Basic capabilities you can't self sign you have to go for open or developer signing

You should consider obtaining a developer certificate. You can get it from Symbian Signed (requires Publisher ID) or from Ovi Publishing (free).

N.B. A sis file is a sis file, whether Qt or Symbian C++ apps are packaged inside it. For all this type of errors, see this forum. The presumption is that by the time you use the Smart Installer you have already an otherwise properly packaged application, fully tested on its own and ready for deployment.
