    Hi All,
Im working on J2ME application development using High level (LCDUI ) API. I want to include Logging to debug the application on Phone.

I have used Microlog by adding source files to the project. It compiled successfully ,but it is not creating any log file in the folder.

Anyone please help me with using Microlog for debugging or suggest anyother mean for implementing Logging in J2ME..

    Regards
    Syed

If you are using S40 device then you can connect it using USB cable and try telnet to get SOP's on the system by using Comm Connection API to write debug logs to comm port which can read by PC.

On S60, you can use the utilities provided by the SDK .

    Thanks for your reply.

But Could you please elaborate on "utilities provided by the SDK " because Im newbie to J2ME.

Is there any provision to get logs in a text file which can be somewhere in device memory ?

Any idea on using Microlog ?
