Is Python s60v5 different from s60v3 ?

I am very much new to Symbian development and python...
Here is a article on creating archives
but it is for Platforms S60 1st Edition, S60 2nd Edition, S60 3rd Edition
I want to be sure if it will work on s60 5th Edition...
If it will not work,
what changes are to be made??

The platform editions in that table have not been updated in a while so you can't rely on them.
