Developing virtual keyboard

Hi guys,

Is it possible to develop system wide virtual keyboard (like Swype for example) in Qt or can this only be done in Symbian C++?

you still have to do some parts in Symbian.C++ where it plugs to system keyboard. But no idea what are the entry points or how to be done.
